We partnered with Tripadvisor to create an experience that matches Sherwin-Williams paint colors to your Travel Vibe.
Flip through a carousel of Travel Vibes inspired by Sherwin-Williams paint colors, and discover the unique destinations that match each vibe from around the globe.

Process
We first collaborated closely with our client partners to map out a clear and simple path for our site visitors.
Our next step was to figure out what colors works best with the type of experience, and what the associated “Vibe” would be for each color.

The Scenes
We originally planned to have simple colored cards with unique titles that would represent each Travel Vibe, but we soon realized the cards were lacking visual interest.
We started to incorporate photography provided by the client, but felt that the imagery did not represent the vibes in a broad enough manner.
So our team started to explore using AI-generated visuals, that we could ensure incorporated elements from multiple destinations, and in a hand-painted aesthetic.

Travel Vibes branding
I wanted the Travel Vibes logo to be expressive and playful, while also aknowledging the partnership with Sherwin-Williams + Tripadvisor.
I pulled inspiration from the Sherwin-Williams logo and its ‘liquid’ elements to help inform the way the typography flows and distorts.
I also wanted to highlight the ‘travel’ aspect of this experience by centering the logo with a rotating globe.
